Hi! My name is Faustine, and I am so happy to welcome you here. Before we start our work together, I want to share a little about myself.
I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota where I received a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in family social science. Before college, I was a figure skater for approximately ten years, during which I became a double gold medalist and competed for Team USA.
Although I didn't realize it back then, my time as an athlete was where I started to learn the value of the way we nourish ourselves. In order to be training for six or more hours a day, I had to make sure that I was eating foods that would allow me to have energy and feel good. After my skating career ended, it was in college where I really began to understand the necessity of taking care of our health so that we can succeed and thrive.
Like many people, the years after high school were when I felt like life actually began, which meant I now had more responsibilities, and lots more to do. I noticed pretty quickly that in this "adult" life, constantly feeling tired, sick, or just unwell, was the norm. However, throughout my last year of college, I got tired of feeling exhausted and drained all the time, and after seeing so many people of all ages around me feeling the same way, I decided this couldn't be the only way to live life. This is where my curiosity about health, and the power it has, really began.
After graduating, I found myself wondering how to align this newfound curiosity, my desire to support people, my passion for health, and my background in psychology. I had realized that our health is at the heart of everything, and with this new knowledge, I decided I wanted to help women feel energized, happy, healthy, nourished, and balanced so that they can live the life they have always wanted. Mainly, after making changes to my lifestyle and nutrition, and seeing how much these changes benefited all areas of my life, I wanted to help people see that sustainable healthy living can be simple and enjoyable.
This is when I found the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and started my training to become a health coach. The more I learned about this field, the more I realized that supporting women in becoming healthier and happier versions of themselves is exactly what I am supposed to be doing.
I am now a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and ready to support you wherever you may be in your wellness journey.
