A three-step and three-ingredient healthy pesto sauce
If you're looking for a creamy, healthy, and very easy-to-make pasta sauce- this recipe is for you! We love this pesto in our family not only because of how simple it is to put together, but also because of its creamy texture and vibrant flavors (it's hard to go wrong with fresh basil)!
With only three-ingredients required and three-steps to make, this pesto this is the perfect sauce for pasta night, and if pasta isn't for you, you can enjoy it with another base of choice such as rice or quinoa!
1 cup cashews (soaked overnight in room-temp water or at least 20 min in hot water)
1 and 1/2 cup water
1 cup basil
(Salt & pepper to taste)
Step by step:
Soak your cashews
Blending together your soaked and drained cashews with your water, basil, and salt & pepper
Enjoy with your pasta of choice!
