5 simple tips to help you transition to a plant based lifestyle

Easy tips for those participating in veganuary, those who are looking to transition to plant-based this year, or those who are just curious about the plant-based lifestyle!

1. Find your why- Whether it's for your health, the environment, or the animals, there's plenty of reasons to go vegan! Getting in touch with your motivation is a powerful way to keep up with a plant-based lifestyle. 2. Focus on what you can add in- Many times, going vegan seems impossible for people because we have a tendency to focus on all the foods we can't eat anymore. Instead, try shifting your focus to all the foods you'll be able to add in! There are many plant-based alternatives you can try if it feels right for you, and so many other delicious foods and recipes that are naturally vegan.

3. Connect with a community- Whether it be on Instagram, another social media platform, or in your local area, finding and connecting with a community of other vegans (or those looking to transition to a more plant based lifestyle) can be a great way to stay motivated, share your experience, and learn more helpful tips and tricks! If looking for a community on social media, consider following other vegans, or searching with keywords such as "vegan recipes" or "plant based lifestyle"

4. Find recipes you love- Going vegan doesn't mean giving up good food, in fact, you might even find yourself finding new favorites as you transition to plant-based living! Finding recipes you love is an important part of sustaining this new lifestyle, and a good way to get creative in the kitchen! There are many blogs, youtube channels, and social media pages that offer easy, delicious, and budget friendly recipes for you to try out.
