Antioxidant Smoothie (vegan, gluten free, no added sugar)

A healthy smoothie made of natural, flavorful, and anti-inflammatory ingredients

This smoothie is based on nutrient-rich, nourishing, and healing ingredients! It is my go-to morning smoothie not only because of the health benefits it can provide, but also because it is easy to make and can be taken on the go! It is low in sugar and high in nutrients, antioxidants, and more!

Here's a look at some of the benefits of the ingredients this smoothie is made with:

Blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries- said to be some of the best sources for antioxidants, full of nutrients, and can be helpful for healthy brain and heart function

Chia seeds and ground flaxseeds- good source of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and fiber

Goji berries- good source of antioxidants, iron, and vitamins A and K. These little berries also help to add a slightly sweeter taste to the smoothie!

Cacao nibs- low in sugar and a good source of antioxidants, protein, and fiber!


1/4 cup frozen rasberries

1/4 blackberries

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1 cup water (or non-dairy milk)

1 tablespoons cacao nibs

2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds (or chia seeds)

1 tablespoon goji berries

Step by step:

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender, finishing with the water/non-dairy milk

  2. Blend on medium until the smoothie has reached a consistency you like

  3. Serve in a mason jar, glass, or bowl, and enjoy!

Tip: make it a smoothie bowl and top with cacao nibs, ground flaxseeds, chia seeds, and goji berries instead of blending them in!
