Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding (vegan, gluten free, naturally sweetened)

Start out your day with a nutritious breakfast that's good for you, and your dental health!

As a holistic health coach, I work 1:1 with women to explore their health goals, and help them reach these goals in a simple & sustainable way. We look at nutrition and movement, but we also look beyond just the foods you're eating and the amount of times you exercise. We look at multiple factors in your life (relationships, environment, career, and more) and I also always encourage clients to dive deeper into all aspects of their physical wellbeing- one of which is oral health!

That's why I've teamed up with Pediatric Dentist Dr. Amanda to create a series of recipes that are not only delicious and healthy, but also good for your dental health!

Today we're starting with an easy breakfast- chocolate chia seed pudding. Here are some of the benefits of the ingredients used in this recipe:

✨Almonds: an important source of magnesium which helps with calcium metabolism

✨Almond milk: contains vitamin D to help increase the strength of teeth and helps absorb calcium

✨Chia seeds: contains phosphorus which is essential for health teeth and jaw bones

✨Cacao: dark chocolate contains theobromine which can strengthen teeth enamel

🦷 Tip from Dr. Amanda: remember if you don't have 30-45 minutes to wait to brush your teeth after breakfast, it's preferred to brush before you have breakfast.

Now- let's get into the recipe!
