Chocolate Covered Apples (vegan and gluten free )

A healthy, easy, and fun snack idea

With only 3 ingredients required, these chocolate covered apples are a fast and fun snack to make if you're looking for a healthier way to satisfy a sweet craving!

Note: This recipe serves about 4-6 people, so feel free to adjust amounts accordingly or save leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days!


4 apples (or pears- I'm using 2 pears and 2 apples for this recipe)

1/2 cup vegan chocolate (I like to use chocolate chips or just chocolate bars)

1/4 cup coconut oil

Step by step:

  1. In a small saucepan, melt your vegan chocolate and coconut oil together

  2. Wash and slice your fruit

  3. Carefully dip your apple (or pear) slices into the chocolate, place on a plate, and allow to cool in the fridge for at least one hour

  4. Serve and enjoy!
