Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake (vegan, gluten free, naturally sweetened)

A healthier version of a deliciously sweet beverage


If you're looking for an easy-to-make, creamy, and sweet drink, try out this healthier version of a chocolate & peanut butter shake!


Note: This recipe typically serves 2, so feel free to adjust amounts accordingly!



Ingredients:


2 ripe bananas

1 cup ice

2 tbsp cacao powder

1 tbsp creamy peanut butter (look for no added oils or sugars)

1 cup non-dairy milk

1 tbsp maple syrup


Optional:

2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds

1 tablespoon cacao nibs or vegan chocolate chips


Step by step:

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender, finishing with the non-dairy milk

  2. Blend on medium until the shake has reached a consistency you like

  3. Serve in a mason jar, glass, or bowl, and enjoy!

Tip: make it a bowl and top with cacao nibs, rolled oats, chocolate chips, more banana, or any topping you would like!
