A tasty, sweet, and nourishing beverage
Smoothies are a great way to incorporate fruits into our days, and with only five simple and clean ingredients, this drink is a great option to approach a chocolate craving, enjoy on a hot summer day, or share with a loved one.
Note: The recipe provided below makes one serving, but feel free to double the ingredients if you are hoping to share it or save some for later!
1 medium sized pear
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup oat milk (or any non-dairy milk of choice)
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
Step by Step:
Add all ingredients into a blender, finishing with the oat milk
Blend on medium until the smoothie has reached a consistency you like
Serve in a mason jar, glass, or bowl, and enjoy!
Tip: make it a smoothie bowl and top with anything you like! I recommend the following: ground flaxseeds, granola, goji berries, oats, cacao nibs, and/or chia seeds.
