Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Balls (vegan, gluten free, oil free, naturally sweetened)

A 6-ingredient healthy & delicious snack



Ingredients:


Flaxseed egg:

2 tbsp ground flaxseeds

6 tbsp water


Other ingredients:

1 cup oat flour (gluten-free if desired)

1/3 cup coconut sugar

1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips (or however much you want- I usually just sprinkle them in!)

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup peanut butter (look for no added oils or sugars)


Step by step:

  1. Start preparing the flaxseed egg by combining the ground flaxseeds and water in large bowl. Let stand for about 5 minutes (until it reaches a gel-like consistency)

  2. Once the flaxseed egg is ready, add in your coconut sugar, maple syrup, and peanut butter

  3. Gently fold in your oat flour and chocolate chips, adding 1-2 tbsp of water as needed

  4. Roll the dough into small balls (approximately 1 tbsp per ball) and place onto a large tray

  5. Keep in the fridge for at least one hour, and then enjoy!
