Simple & Healthy Guacamole (vegan, gluten free, oil free)

A nourishing and easy recipe that is perfect for bowls, chips, burritos, and more!

This recipe is my mom's tasty, healthy, and super easy-to-make guacamole! She only uses five ingredients to make hers (and we've found this flavor combination to work really well), but you can feel free to add more ingredients and make it your own!

Guacamole is perfect to use alongside chips, in burritos, on bowls, or really with anything you want! It's a great addition to almost any meal not only because it tastes great, but also because of the health benefits it can provide! Avocados are a source of a wide range of nutrients (such as potassium, folate, vitamin K, and more), and they also provide the body with healthy fats! Did you know avocados actually offer more potassium than bananas? Just another reason to make this healthy and flavorful recipe!

Note: This recipe is intended for 3-4 people, so feel free to adjust amounts as needed and store leftovers in fridge for up to 3 days


3-4 medium ripe avocados (mashed)

Juice of 1 lemon

1/4 cup onion (diced)

1 tbsp cilantro (chopped)

Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Prepare your ingredients (chop your cilantro, dice your onion, juice your lemon, and mash your avocados)

  2. Combine all of your ingredients in a large bowl

  3. Add your salt & pepper to taste

  4. Stir, serve, and enjoy!
