Triple Berry Oats (vegan, gluten free, naturally sweetened)

These triple berry oats are not only tasty and sweet, but they are also a really healthy breakfast (or snack)! Packed with nutrients, protein, antioxidants, and fiber, these oats are a good option to include a few times a week (or daily) into your life for healthier skin and supporting your heart health!

Here are just some of the benefits of the ingredients that make up these oats:

Blueberries & blackberries- great fruits for anti-inflammation and both good sources of antioxidants and nutrients

Strawberries- rich in vitamin C and antioxidants

Oats- good source of nutrients, fiber & protein; rich in antioxidants

Chia seeds- another good source of nutrients & protein; rich in antioxidants; high in omega-3 acids (more than salmon!)


1/2 cup oats (gluten-free)

1/2 cup non-dairy milk (or water)

1/2 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries)

1 tsp maple syrup (or agave)

1/2 tbsp chia seeds

Optional toppings:

1/2 tbsp flaxseeds

1/2 tbsp vegan chocolate chips

Step by step:

  1. To a small saucepan on medium heat, add in your oats and non-dairy milk

  2. Stir all the ingredients together and allow to cook for approximately 4-5 minutes, or until the oats reach a boil and are cooked through

  3. If using frozen berries, stir in your fruits

  4. When oats are ready and berries are de-frosted, carefully transfer them to a heat safe bowl

  5. Top with maple syrup, chia seeds, and any additional toppings

  6. Serve and enjoy!

Tip: For overnight or cold oats, place all ingredients into an airtight container; mix or shake until the ingredients are well combined; allow to sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours, serve, and enjoy!
